Candle Care Tips

* The wicks have been trimmed and are ready for burning.  Our wicks are designed to be self-trimming, but carbon build up or "mushrooms" may still occur.  If a large mushroom cap forms on the wick, carefully trim just the build up, leaving the wick intact.  Cutting the wicks too short may cause them to become submerged in the wax and fail to burn properly.

* Never burn a candle unattended.

* Keep out of reach of children and pets.

* Keep the candle on a flat, stable, heat-resistant surface away from any drafts or fans.

* To prevent tunneling, we recommend the first burn melts the wax all the way to the edge of the candle.  Burn no more than 4 hours at a time.  It is natural for coconut-soy wax to have a "hang up" along the vessel's edge.  Burning the candle for an extended period of time will release the "hang up".

* Keep away from foreign and flammable materials.
